Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe, a mixed race British-Nigerian child, was born to a family in South London. Her father is a Nigerian-Swiss, as is her mom who's English. Her family was raised on a council estate south of London. In the ages of 14, she attended The Brit School. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she obtained the BA in acting. She appeared on stage in several productions as a student like King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had guest appearances for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film appearance was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), opposite Colin Farrell. After the film's success, Madekwe was cast as Elisha in The BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as for six seasons Trexx and Flipside. In 2008, she got Bambi's role on ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. She appeared in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe also appeared on the comedic How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). Her credits in theatre are Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC show The Beautiful Life. The two-episode show aired only for 2 weeks at The CW and then it was cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. Following her appearance as a regular on the first two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that she would depart the series following an appearance as a guest in the first episode from the 3rd season. From 2014 until 2016, she starred in Salem as Tituba. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Together, they worked on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. He was also a part of the cast alongside Madekwe on Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty along with her older brothers: Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely athletic, played hockey during the winter and baseball during the summer months, which means that she grew up playing in parks and arenas. Ashley was never able to actually walk. She would dance. At 2 and a 1/2 when she was a little older, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. Ashley was hooked on dance since that time. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, at the top levels of competitions, such as tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and many more. She also won top soloists awards in all major dance contests, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
