Allison Stokke and Alyce Caron

Allison Stokke was born March 22nd, 1989 in Newport Beach California United States. Stokke is one of the richest and most well-known Pole vaulters. In 2007, a picture of Stokke in an age appropriate track event went viral, and was widely praised as the pole-vaulter of the century. She has gained a huge fan base on social media sites like Instagram and Twitter. She's a track and field star comparable to Jessica Ennis Hill. Los Angeles Times reported, among others it claimed that Stokke did not seek out this attention. The authors of their work Technology Power and Culture in the Network Society Brett Hutchins and David Rowe linked Stokke's case with the case of American soccer players Alex Morgan and Hope Solo female athletes who were fetishized and were seen as having their images as sexually distorted in a manner which, according to the authors, diminished their sporting achievements. Regarding Stokke and her case, they pointed out that the majority of posts on social media were insulting. and blamed the issue of sexual harassment on women. Other women drew a parallel with the celebrations of Brandi's sports bra following her win at the FIFA Women's World Cup back in 1999. They claimed that conversations about appearance were a distraction from sporting events specifically for female athletes. Photographs of Stokke, competing during New York early 2007, were published on the internet by an Californian journalist working for a track and fields website. With Leather, a popular site for sports that boasts many male readers and re-posted the image in May under the title Pole Vaulting Is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford threatened to file an action against the photographer should the photo not be taken down. However, by the time the article and images had gained a great deal of interest. Stokke's photos of her pole vaulting skills were posted on the site dedicated to her. The images then became viral on social media, fan groups gained thousands of new fans. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. Caron wanted to complete her Florida high school. In 1974, she completed her high school graduation and chose to take a different approach by doing an internship. Alyce is a proud sister of professor. She is supported by the family she lives with and also works as an assistant professor at a local college. Alyce's family lives in Texas as a father works for U.S. Army. The family celebrated their father's birthday three years ago. Alyce posted a photo of her beautiful daughter on social media, recognizing her dad's contribution in and the U.S. Army. She also encourages her daughter to focus on education. The daughter she has enrolled in received the National Merit Scholarship from the University, and will celebrate her 22nd Birthday in 2022.
