Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28, 1967). Her career began when she was an teen and is most well recognized for her role as Maggie Beckett in the television series Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), a payroll accountant, and German American Andrew Wuhrer, who was a police officer as well as a car salesman. The couple has three brothers. She began singing in clubs as a teenager, and was known to sneak away from her home to perform. After studying acting at the Wooster School at 13 years old, she studied drama in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts at Marymount Manhattan College and Columbia University. Then, she took classes at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts under renowned Uta Hagen. She was born April 28 the 28th of April, 1967 in Brookfield Connecticut. Her father is German American and a car dealer and police agent. Kari's children are three. Kari was a nightclub singer when she was just a teenager. Kari would get away from home and perform. Kari began acting at the Wooster school when she was thirteen, and went into drama school at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under renowned Uta Hagen. Kari began acting when she was still a teenager. She had her first big break on MTV Remote Control in 1987.
