
Julie Ellen "Tawny," Kitaen was an American actress and model. She was born between May 7th, 2021 until August 5, 1961. She started her career as a TV actor, acting in the TV films Malibu (1983), California Girls (1985). She also appeared in the comedy The Perils of Gwendoline and Bachelor Party (both 1984) and the horror film Witchboard (1986). Kitaen was well-known for her performance in metal music videos that featured heavy metal such as Ratt's "Back for More", Whitesnake "Still of the Night" and "Is This love" (all 1987). Kitaen also appeared in reality television shows, like Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) and The Surreal Life (2006) that detailed Kitaen's struggles with substance abuse. Kitaen was born Julie Kitaen in San Diego, California in 1961, the third child born to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor) an housewife and one-time beauty pageant judge, and Terry Kitaen, an employee of a company that makes neon signs. Kitaen's mom, who was from Irish as well as Scottish descent was married to Terry Kitaen (an employee of a company that made neon signs). Her father was Russian-Jewish.
