Rauw Alejandro
Raul Alejandro Ocasio-Ruiz (born on 10 January 1993) is professionally known as Rauw Alejandro is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. He is referred to as the "King of the New Reggaeton",[2][3the singer is part of "the younger generation" of Puerto Rican urban musicians. The debut studio album, Afrodisiaco, was released in November of 2020. Vice Versa the second album of his studio, was released in June 2021. It included the lead song "Todo de Ti". He's won two Latin Grammy Awards from twelve nominations. Raul Alejandro Ruiz is a Latin Grammy Award winner, was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on January 10, 1993. He also grew up in Canovanas and Carolina. [4][5] His father guitarist Raul Ocasio, as well as his mother singer Maria Nelly Ruiz, introduced to some of his musical inspirations, such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson as well as Chris Brown. Alejandro and his father lived for a long time in the United States. They mainly resided in New York City and Miami. Alejandro and Anuel A.A. who is a fellow Puerto Rican rapper are childhood close friends. They went to the same school and shared classes. 9/10/10 Alejandro was a dancer with talent in his youth and was an active participant in talent shows. He attended the University of Puerto Rico after having graduated from high school. He played soccer between six and twenty. But , he resigned, saying he could not be as effective as he had hoped. He eventually relocated to Orlando to see if he could be sought out by the Premier Development League (PDL). Rauw Alejandro's style of music includes Latin R&B, reggaeton, ballsads and rhythmic pop. Billboard commented that it has contributed to "set him apart from the growing group of reggaetones with a pop-leaning". He was initially influenced by Presley and Jackson and later, Ricky Martin, Daddy Yankee as well as Chris Brown. [24] He also cites Ciara as an influencer in music.
